HASSAN RADHI AND ASSOCIATES won the "IFN Bahrain Deal of the Year 2023" award

for their role in Solidarity's acquisition of Al-Hilal businesses from Ahli United Bank.

This prestigious honor was bestowed upon them on 25th April 2024, during the IFN Awards Ceremony in Dubai, the most coveted honors in the global Islamic finance and banking industry.

Bahrain-based Solidarity continued to grow with the acquisition of Al Hilal Life which owns Al Hilal Takaful from Ahli United Bank Group. The deal increases Solidarity’s market presence in Bahrain and expands its product offerings. Leading Bahrain law firm Hassan Al Radhi & Associates advised on this transaction.

Consolidation in the Bahraini financial market continued with Bahrain-based Solidarity acquiring Al-Hilal Takaful and Al-Hilal Life. Advised by Hassan Al Radhi & Associates, the deal gives Solidarity a leading position in the Bahraini market as it builds on its acquisitions of T’azur Company in 2021 and Al Ahlia Insurance in 2017.
